What is JSX?

React Beginner Questions - Set 7

Example

const title = <h2 className="t">Hello</h2>;

// Babel/SWC output: a plain object, not a DOM node
const compiled = jsx('h2', { className: 't', children: 'Hello' });

What to notice

JSX is not a template language: it is a function call with a nicer syntax.
