When was the most recent time you worked with .NET, and are you currently working with it?
.NETC#Backend
✅ Yes — I am currently working with .NET, and my most recent hands-on .NET delivery was in 2025.
Technical detail
- 📅 2025 (most recent): designed and built a Document Management System with a .NET backend and an Angular 17/18 front end — REST controllers, service layer, entity model, DTO mapping, Swagger/OpenAPI contract, JWT authentication and relational persistence, with the Angular SPA consuming the API through RxJS services.
- 🏢 Current role (2024 – present): I continue to deliver C#/.NET tasks alongside my Java 17/25 + Spring Boot 3/4 and Python/FastAPI workstreams, so the platform stays active in my daily toolbox rather than being historical knowledge.
- 🕰️ Earlier enterprise track record: full-stack .NET/Java positions for banking and enterprise clients — custom development on ASP.NET and C#, Visual Studio .NET consulting, SSIS-based data integration and SQL Server back ends.
🔧 Day-to-day .NET activities: designing layered APIs, writing async services, unit and integration tests, refining EF Core queries against T-SQL, hardening authentication/authorization, and shipping through CI/CD (dotnet CLI steps inside build pipelines). 🐳 I also containerize the API so it runs identically on Linux containers in the cloud.
🎯 Bottom line: .NET is not a past skill for me — it is part of the stack I actively use and can join a project with from day one.
🧾 CV evidence: 2025 DMS Angular + .NET technical assessment (Program.cs, controllers, services, Swagger/JWT/SQL; RxJS Angular UI); Globant Senior .NET Developer role (C#, ASP.NET, Azure, Docker); freelancer/contractor record of ASP.NET and C# development and Visual Studio .NET consulting.
