How many greenfield projects have you worked on where you were involved in building the application from scratch?
GreenfieldDeliveryLeadership
✅ I have built well over 15 greenfield solutions from scratch over my career, several of them as the technical driver of the initial architecture.
Technical detail
- 🚀 Examples with real ownership — the SECOP public-contracting analytics platform (founder/director: data ingestion, analytical reports, Angular/Node.js front end, historical reporting), a Document Management System (.NET API + Angular SPA), an automated customer-verification service integrating 17 public databases with complex business rules, health/commerce/governance platforms at my current role, and SaaS integrations with payment and webhook flows.
- 🏗️ What "from scratch" includes in my work — solution and repository structure, architecture and layer boundaries, technology selection with ADRs, database and contract design, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategy, environments and configuration, security baseline, and the first production release with monitoring and runbooks.
- 📈 Scaling beyond the first release — evolving from MVP to production load, adding observability, hardening security, refactoring early shortcuts, and documenting standards so additional developers (or contractors) can contribute safely.
- 🧩 Also delivered as greenfield components — internal frameworks and reusable libraries (for example a generic REST helper library to accelerate team delivery) built where no fit-for-purpose solution existed.
🎯 Across those projects the pattern is consistent: define the architecture deliberately, ship the smallest usable increment, measure, then scale — with quality gates and documentation baked in from day one rather than retrofitted later.
🧾 CV evidence: CV: founder/director building the SECOP consultation platform from scratch; 'VerificacionAutomatica' service integrating 17 public databases (cited as greatest professional achievement); 2025 DMS Angular + .NET build; 24-role chronology including multiple POC and greenfield deliveries.
