- 🧭 Technical decisions — technology and architecture selection with explicit trade-offs (build vs. buy, framework choice, relational vs. NoSQL, sync vs. event-driven), documented as ADRs; ownership of non-functional targets (performance, security, availability, cost) and of the migration paths that follow.
- 📏 Design and coding standards — layered/hexagonal reference structures, naming and folder conventions, dependency rules enforced by lint/architecture tests, API and error-handling standards, testing expectations and coverage gates, branching/PR conventions, and a living style guide with examples.
- 👥 Mentoring and enablement — onboarding new developers (from environment setup to first merged feature), pairing on complex work, review-based coaching, internal knowledge sessions on patterns and tooling, clear growth feedback, and documentation that lets people self-serve.
- ⚙️ Delivery leadership — sprint planning and estimation support, technical risk management, unblocking teammates, coordination with product/QA/operations, and protecting quality while meeting commitments.
- 📈 Leadership toolkit — Scrum Master certification and practical experience with SCRUM/Kanban, team-of-5-10 leadership as Technical Lead, founder/director experience building and coordinating a development platform, and a consistent record of raising team delivery standards.
